Task
The task was to redo and update the current website's design from a free WP template. Had to work on:
- modern and light page design
- adaptive layout for mobile devices
- fast loading speed
Solution
Detailed technical specifications were developed for the site so that the new version could be adapted to the client's requirements.
Proposed and described the logic of the multilingual version of the site. Designed and created mockups to be used as the basis for the final website design.
Design
The website's design was done in Sketch
The color scheme of the brand and the logo were taken into account when developing the design style.
More than 15 templates of different pages were created, the peculiarities of the theme and brand were taken into account.
To increase the interactivity of the pages graphic illustrations have been created.
The brand features are organically inscribed to give more trust to the site
Layout
Developed an adaptive layout, using:
- HTML
- CSS
- JS (custom)
Backend
The site was built using WordPress CMS.
The CMS has been improved by customized solutions, taking into account the specifics of the niche and the client's requirements.
Integrated multi language option.
We created functionality for editing review pages with product items.
We integrated the functionality to subscribe readers.
Optimized the site for high loading speed.
Result
The client received a website functionally that is capable of managing all the required tasks. The site is easy to update with new content and product names. There is a fully functional commentary blog for communicating with the audience.
The site collects a subscriber base for further email marketing.
